Thank you for your interest in PNN’s survey on the revised draft of the CDC opioid prescribing guideline. The survey was conducted online from March 5 to April 11, 2022.

A total of 2,509 people in the United States participated, including 2,362 who identified themselves as patients with chronic or short-term acute pain; 56 doctors or healthcare providers who treat pain; and 91 people who said they were a caregiver, spouse, loved one or friend of a patient. There were no significant differences in responses between the three groups.
